What's coming next

Every trial result still to come, soonest first.

Facts on this page checked 18–22 Oct 2026

This page lists every trial in people with a result still to come. It covers all six approaches. It also covers trials that try to prevent Parkinson's in people at high risk.

Each trial says what it will tell us and who it is for. Most of these trials ask whether a drug is safe, or whether it reaches its target in the body. Only large, late trials can show whether a treatment slows Parkinson's. They are marked Phase 3.

Why dates slip

The dates here are the ones the trial teams give. They are expected, not promised. Trials often report late.

Finding enough people to take part can take longer than planned. After the last person finishes, the results take months to check. Some are first shared at a meeting and only later in a journal.

When a date passes with no result, we mark it as overdue. We check the trial registries each month and update this page.

Can I take part?

Some of these trials are still looking for people. Follow "Check if it is recruiting" on a trial to see its entry in the public trial register. Your neurologist or Parkinson's nurse can tell you whether a trial might suit you.
